Hey folks,
The library of congress gave me a loaner braille note for six months until I can get my own. Meanwhile I'm trying to learn how to operate it and yesterday when I went to turn it on it wouldn't start up so I charged it for 3 hours then I tried to turn it on again and it still wouldn't come on so finally I had to reset it which was the whole issue I had to reset it ok so I reset it and turned it back on and it comes on saying this product key? What does that mean? Does that mean I have to type in some code or something? As I said before I don't know yet how to set up the menus and all so I don't know what to do with it to get out of this prompt. There is a family CD that came with it do I have to install that onto my computer to work the braille note?
lol I've had that come up. It's not a big deal. Just hit space E. to exit out of it and you're all set. It doesn't mean anything. On second thought, doesn't it escape by itself? Once you exit it, the main menu will come up and you should be ok. Hope this helps.

All these search engines and sites on how to operate a braille note, and they go unused, makes you wonder about the validity of the internet.
Actually I called the company today and fixed the problem. I just had to type in some long digit letters and boom it went straight to the main menu. Now I just have to set the clock whenever I feel up to doing it.
